Our client, an innovative marine engineering company, is seeking a Field Support Engineer to join their growing team. They are developing revolutionary marine technology.
This is a hands-on, customer-focused role for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and enjoys combining technical problem-solving with excellent client service.
What You’ll Do
Act as the primary technical support contact for the product portfolio, both remotely and on-site
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues efficiently
Support customer installations, commissioning, and training processes
Maintain ownership of queries, ensuring first-time fix outcomes
Liaise with internal engineering and support teams to ensure technical expertise is applied effectively
Review and manage warranty claims
Support product demonstrations, testing, and field trials
Analyse technical support trends and provide feedback to leadership teams
Contribute to improving customer service processes and service delivery
About You
Degree or HND in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electronics Engineering preferred
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in marine engineering
Experience in customer-facing, service desk, or field service roles with complex products
Strong technical competence in mechanical and electronic engineering
Familiarity with ticketing systems and Service Level Agreements is desirable
Experience in SMEs or start-up environments, with a hands-on, proactive approach

Hours: Monday – Friday 9am-5pm (flexibility required)
Location: Field-based, Coventry head office for support/training
