Our client supports people to live as independently as possible within their own homes and also in residential care. They are committed to providing the highest levels of care to their residents. To enable them to do this they need caring and dedicated professionals to deliver first class care.

All applicants will be subject to satisfactory references and all employees are checked against the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS).

Residential Youth Support Worker – Complex Care

Flexible working options are available (full/part time/bank shifts)

Shift Pattern Example: 2 full days on 4 days off on a rolling rota equals a minimum of 10 shifts and sleep ins per month, there is a £30 per night sleep in rate.

Your passions have the potential to enhance our young people’s experience within Cambian, this will in turn develop their skills in resilience, team building, leadership, communication, building confidence and supporting their goals for independent living.

You will provide support to young people who may be struggling to settle into their routines, this would include checking on the child’s welfare throughout your shifts and providing any required support in line with their care plans. Duties may also involve, general household tasks and completing administration work. This package of care, which you will play an important part, is aimed to support the development and the mental wellbeing of the children in our care.

  • Be able to establish positive supporting, nurturing relationships ensuring our children feel safe and cared for

  • Hold a full UK driving licence
