Our client is one the UK’s leading Occupational Health organisations, they combine expert advice and clinical services with smart systems to deliver impact driven health programs tailored to our client’s needs.

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Emergency Nurse Practitioner to work at our client site in Plymouth. The site operates from 7.30am to 11.30pm and we require candidates to work a shift pattern. For this role a manual drivers licence is required.

What you'll be doing:

• Provide an emergency response and treatment service.
• Ensure records are accurate and kept up to date
• Handle any walk ins to the clinic
• Carry out pre-employments, health surveillance and drug & alcohol testing
• Perform health promotion activities
• Conduct risk assessments and other general OH tasks
• Driving an ambulance around the client site (you will be required to hold a valid manual license)

What you’ll have:

• Registered paramedic, general nurse, or qualification in adult nursing with valid HCPC or NMC registration
• A prescribing qualification
• Pre-Hospital or A&E experience
• Experience working in a pre-hospital setting as a practitioner or an acute, community hospital setting or primary care as an ENP
• Experience and excellent knowledge base I assessment, diagnosis and management of minor illness or injuries
• Fracture Management
• You will be fully aware of the clinical Governance agenda
• Immediate or advanced Life Support (RCUK)
• Ideally a pre-hospital or Minor Injuries and Minor Illness course
• Fully aware of principles of infection
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team
