Job Description

Key responsibilities: Nothing but healthcare is proud to present an opportunity in the role of a Deputy Manager who will assist the Manager and work as part of a diverse team to achieve the common goal of providing second to none healthcare to our patients within the home. Ideally you will be hungry for both personal and team success as well as provide efficiency, togetherness and be an example to others within the workplace. The care home is home to patients of whom suffer from Dementia and Alzheimer’s as well as provide both palliative and respiratory care. Having experience of being in such environments is highly advantageous

 

Essential Qualifications: For this role you Must be a Registered General Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC pin. You should have an insight into deputy/manger work and what it entails with an eye for progression and ambition nor only for yourself but the people also around you.

 

About you: You should be passionate about your work and wanting to help elderly people with their needs. Patience is essential in such a role especially as you will be liaising with both your team and patients within the home therefore someone who is able to work under pressure would be best suited for this role. You should be flexible in your approach to situations and be able to adjust to different situations without hesitation. You should be able to know when to be assertive in what you do and know how to manage a team effectively without the assistance of others. There should be an aim to get the most out of the colleagues at your disposal through your leadership skills and experience
