Pay Rates (PAYE/Umbrella):

Days: £13.10 to £14.75
Nights/Sat: £14.50 to £18.80
Sunday/BH: £19 to £25.10

Key Responsibilities

• Child-Centered Care: Provide outstanding care that prioritizes the health, safety, and overall welfare of every child.
• Individual Attention: Treat each child as a unique individual, addressing their physical, emotional, and intellectual needs with respect and genuine care.
• Stimulating Environment: Create a warm, engaging, and creative space where children can learn through imaginative play and well-structured activities.
• Accurate Record Keeping: Maintain precise developmental records in line with EYFS standards, ensuring every detail is accurately documented.
• Planning & Communication: Collaborate with your team to develop weekly and monthly plans, and keep parents well-informed about their child’s progress and routine.
• Inclusive Practices: Implement best practices for supporting children with special needs by working closely with relevant professionals.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to students and apprentices, sharing your expertise to help them grow.
• Team Collaboration: Ensure effective communication with colleagues to continually enhance the quality of care and education provided.
• Compliance: Rigorously follow Ofsted and EYFS guidelines, ensuring all practices meet the highest standards.
• Flexibility & Accountability: Adapt to additional responsibilities as needed while consistently demonstrating professional accountability.
• Training & Safety: Attend mandatory training sessions and meetings, complete necessary checks (including Enhanced DBS and health clearance), and commit to ongoing professional development.
• Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality regarding children, parents, and nursery operations in line with organisational policies.
