Mental Health Practitioner (RMN) Band 6 Contract

Shifts: Covering a 24/7 service

Are you a dedicated and skilled Mental Health Practitioner looking for a dynamic role within a 24/7 service? We are seeking a Band 6 MHP (RMN, Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist) to join our Initial Response Services team in Lancashire. This is a critical role for ensuring the ongoing accurate assessment and management of risk, providing high-quality mental health care in diverse and unpredictable settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct ongoing accurate assessments of risk posed by service users to themselves or others.
• Effectively communicate risk assessments to other professionals involved in the service user’s care, including those outside mental health services, as appropriate.
• Ensure the effective management of risk, employing robust strategies tailored to individual needs.
• Manage risks in unpredictable environments, often without immediate support from other mental health professionals.
• Maintain clear and concise documentation to support continuity of care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional mental health services.

Pay Rates:
Days: £22 – £26 per hour
Nights/Saturdays: £30 – £34 per hour
Sundays/Bank Holidays: £38 – £44 per hour

Requirements:
Professional qualification as an RMN, Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist.
Proven experience in mental health risk assessment and management.
Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations within a 24/7 service model.
Strong communication skills to liaise with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies.
Commitment to delivering person-centered care in line with best practices.
